Suvi Mikkonen–Final Nacional 2.011–2.012 (Clasificación equipo preolímpico europeo 2.012).

 

Video de la retransmisión en directo de la final de Suvi Mikkonen en el campeonato nacional senior de Finlandia dentro del programa especial organizado por el Comite Olímpico de Finlandia especial deportes de combates olímpicos (Olympiakamppailu) un macro evento en el pabellón deportivo Energia – Arrena, los deportes de combate olímpico que se dieron cita fueron: Judo, lucha, esgrima, boxeo y Taekwondo.

“Al finalizar el combate, Suvi fue protagonista de innumerables entrevistas para los distintos medios que realizaron la cobertura en este macro evento nacional, consiguiendo con ello una promoción extraordinaria para el Taekwondo, Suvi salió en todas las noticias deportivas de las distintas televisiones del país y su combate fue retransmitido completamente en varias ocasiones en el Canal Deportivo de la 2.

Lucia Sánchez – European Cadet Champion

Lucia Sánchez Llanos won the Gold Medal in the European Cadet Championships of 2011 celebrated in Georgia.

Lucia Sánchez, athlete of the Han kuk International School and my training partner, has achieved the title of European Cadet Champion in the category of female -55kg on Sunday, 10 of July in Georgia.

 

 

Lucia Sánchez fought against the representative of Serbia Marija Milovanovic with a score of 9 – 1, in semifinals 9 – 12 against the representative of Turkey Celik Zeynep and in the final with an extraordinary performance was able to beat the representative of Ukraine Yuliya Miyuts with a score of 8 – 16.

  Lucia Sánchez, 14 years old, has had a magnificent season winning the Madrid Championships in Cadet and Junior, Gold medal in the Spanish National Championships in Cadet and Silver medal in the Junior National Championships, also she has won all the international competitions in which she has participated this year to prepare for the European Championships. This gold medal in the European Championships reflects the hard work and effort she has put in to training.

From here I want to congratulate her on this first important step in her career. She has a lot of potential and I know she is going to make it very far.

Jesús Ramal is the new Olympic Trainer of the Finnish National Team

The Excecutive board of the Finnish Taekwondo Federation appointed Mr. Jesús Ramal as the new Olympic coach of The Finnish Taekwondo Federation

On Thursday 9th of September 2.010, the Finnish Taekwondo Federation Executive Board held a meeting to organize the department of high level competition in which the decised for Jesús Ramal, personnal trainer of Suvi Mikkonen, to be named Olympic trainer of the Finnish National Team.

After receiving the news, Jesús Ramal commented “It`s a Project that excites me a lot, it´s a personnal and professional challenge. I´m very happy and motivated, I´m thankfull for the confidence that the Finnish Taekwondo Federation has in me and my work in a project of such importance to prepare for the clasiffication of the London Olympic Games 2.012”.

The official presentation will take place on the 25th of September in the city of Turku (Finland), where the first training week programed for the Olympic Team will start. Carlos Fernandez the physical trainer will also be there and will form part of Jesús Ramal´s technical Team.

SUVI MIKKONEN NORDIC CHAMPION

Suvi achieves the gold medal in the – 57 kg weight category beating the representatives of Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Suvi Mikkonen and her coach Jesús Ramal participated in the 2.010 Taekwondo Nordic Championships, which took place on the weekend of 22 – 24 of January in Oslo (Norway), an official event of the Nordic countries (Island, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark). The event holds different reunions of the Nordic Association of Taekwondo and a competition of Pumses and Kiorugui of all the categories of Junior and Senior.

Suvi won the gold medal and title of Nordic Champion 2.010 adding this to the previous title achieved in 2008 in Finland in the senior category.

To win the gold medal she had to fight 3 matches, where she showed the maturity that she is gaining after each competition, explosive movements, fast and effective decisions in technical – tactical situations.

In the first match she had to fight the hostess Norwegian winning by a convincing 9 – 1, en Semi – finals she fought Sweden with a result of 6 – 3 and in the final with the representative of Denmark winning by 6 – 5.

Suvi Mikkonen ha confirmado su participación en el Campeonato Nórdico de Taekwondo en la modalidad olímpica de combate en el peso – 57 kg (Peso Olímpico)  el próximo 23 de enero 2.010 en la ciudad de Namestad (Noruega).

Participando las selecciones que conforman los países nórdicos; Dinamarca, Finlandia, Islandia, Suecia y Noruega.

La organización de estos campeonatos es de carácter anual y rotativo, Noruega (2.010), Dinamarca (2.011), Suecia (2.012), Finlandia (2.013), Islandia (2.014)…

Las disciplinas incluidas son:

Modalidad Olímpica combate:  Categorías junior y senior

Modalidad de formas (Poomses): Categorias junior, senior 1, senior 2, master 1, master 2, parejas y equipos.
